Below is some information you might find useful when visiting our German restaurant in Melbourne:
Parking
There are paid parking options in the surrounds of our location. Visit the Melbourne City Council website for more information on paid parking options and rates.
Payment
We accept cash and card payment options, and request payment be made once the bill is settled prior to your party leaving. Unfortunately we cannot split bills, but have an ATM on site which can utilised to make paying the bill easier. Please note we have a 2.5% surcharge applicable to AMEX.
If you are planning on hosting a function with us and would like to discuss making pre-payment via bank transfer, please ask and we will do our best to assist.
Bringing Children
We are more than happy to welcome your family to our restaurant and have a separate childrens menu for your little one (or big one!) to choose from. We also have high chairs available although these are limited, so be sure to request one when you make your booking. By law, children under the age of 18 must be off the premises by 9pm.
Large Party Bookings
We would happily host your large party for your next event. For bookings of 10 people or more, please contact us to make arrangements. Our team can work with you on package options, or arrange a pre-order for those that are on restricted time frames.
Dress Code
We operate a smart/casual dress code at all times at the discretion of management. Management also reserve the right to refuse entry/ask any patron to leave who is acting inappropriately or is overly intoxicated.
We love dressing up, and encourage our patrons to get into the spirit, however we do operate a family atmosphere. Therefore parties that are wanting to dress up please run the outfit choices by the Reservations team first to ensure there will be no issue on arrival.
Door Policy
We operate an over 18’s policy within the bar area at certain times, and a valid passport or drivers license may be requested by staff as proof of age.
Entertainment
We have a live band at our German beer hall in Melbourne every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Their timings depend on the night, bookings, types of parties in, etc. If you are wanting to see the band, please be sure to ask when making a booking with our Reservations team, and we will do our best to make this happen.
Our band also enjoy playing to the crowd and interacting with our guests, so if there is an occasion being celebrated that you would like a shout out for – feel free to ask!
Seating Times
On Friday and Saturday nights, and during busy times such as the Christmas period, we have various seating times for our Bavarian restaurant’s two main dining areas. These are as follows:
